The above reference web page shows what purports to have once been the Oracle Corporation Patent Policy.

I am attempting to obtain an on the record response to:

(1) Was this once the policy?

(2) If so, when was it issued?

(3) If so, is it still the policy?

(4) If it was and isn't now, when was it changed?

(5) If it never was, can you comment on it in any way? (e.g., a hoax, an urban legend, an unofficial statement, what?)

I wrote this email to obtain more info on the statement of Oracle Patent Policy . On Wednesday, 02.Feb.2000, I received a voice mail from Sunjay Persad at Oracle. We have traded several voice mails since, but have not yet actually talked.
