I have just added these quotations to my website. You can see these and more
by going to the Quotations section at
http://www.JamesSHuggins.com/h/quo1/quotes.htm
We learned to be patient observers like the owl. We learned cleverness from
the crow, and courage from the jay, who will attack an owl ten times its
size to drive it off its territory. But above all of them ranked the
chickadee because of its indomitable spirit.
Tom Brown, Jr., The Tracker
It's practically impossible to look at a penguin and feel angry.
Joe Moore
Kilometers are shorter than miles. Save gas, take your next trip in
kilometers.
George Carlin
The phrase "working mother" is redundant.
Jane Sellman
Wherever you are, whatever your circumstances may be, whatever misfortune
you may have suffered, the music of your life has not gone. It's inside
you if you listen to it, you can play it.

__________2. EPHEMERAE
Every day interesting stuff crosses my desk. Some isnt important enough
to put on my site in any permanent way. But it is interesting enough to put
there somehow, quickly, at least for a while.
These are ephemerae: collections of temporary, transitory tidbits.
I have the same information and links to prior items at
http://www.JamesSHuggins.com/h/eph1/ephemerae.htm
Washington Post (17.Jan.2002), "Talk: Singing in the Key of Me":
Seems that a recent best-selling country song in America isn't about a
busted romance or cheatin' hearts. It isn't about loneliness, wanderlust,
cowboys or even pickup trucks. It's about men and women talking, and it has
a message: Ladies, you talk about yourselves too much.

The U-2 Program: A Russian Officer Remembers:
This article on the CIA website was excerpted from a longer study written by
retired Soviet Colonel Alexander Orlov. He spent most of his 46-year
military career with the former USSR's Air Defense Forces and personally
participated in many of the U-2 events described.
