Multiple Sclerosis Webring
Welcome to James S. Huggins' Refrigerator Door
Welcome to my website.
This is a webring welcome page. I created this welcome page when I joined this webring to provide a special guide to my site for webring hoppers.
See the bottom of this page for an overview of how webring welcome pages work.
I hope that you enjoy your visit here. Feel free to sign my guestbook if you'd like to leave me a message or email me if you would prefer.
Comments for the Multiple Sclerosis Webring
Multiple Sclerosis has touched my life. (See the page "Multiple Sclerosis and Me" below.) Because it touched my life, I created a subsection of my site just for Multiple Sclerosis.
This particular Webring was the springboard for the creation of that subsection. It was because I wanted to join this particular Webring that I overcame the inertia to begin.
After joining this webring (or more precisely, its former incarnation in the Original WebRing system), I discovered that it isn't a general support Webring. Rather, it is only for websites and web pages that offer something of value related to Multiple Sclerosis: personal stories, information
and links to other relevant sites.
So, I withdrew my "application" and began seriously to develop a new page on my site for Multiple Sclerosis. But because I am "obsessive/compulsive", I didn't just create one page. I ended up creating an entire section of my website. It is one of the sections of which I am most proud.
In September 2000, Yahoo! assimilated the Original WebRing system. The original ringmaster of the Multiple Sclerosis Webring decided
to shut it down. At the time it was shut down, it had more than 250 members. It then restarted on RingSurf. And I am pleased to join it again.
After you check out these particular topics, you might like to explore the rest of my site (and get to know me better). I recommend that you start with my "Home" Page. From there the "Front Door" will provide some highlights of the site, information on my navigation scheme and a bevy of graphics for the organizations I
belong to and support. Then "Stuff About Me" will provide more info about me than you could possibly want. (I've included all these links in the link list below.)
From there, I'd suggest just exploring the various parts of the site as suits your interests.

This subsection shows all the webrings I own and links to all the webrings to which I belong. This includes webrings in Ringlink, RingSurf, Bravenet and the WebRing.com system as well.
If you are looking to join one of my webrings, this is a good place to start. If you wonder about the webrings I belong to, this is the place to go. Click here or on the graphic.
Webrings: General Information
This subsection includes general information about webrings. Webrings can be hosted by a variety of different services. This section deals with the overall concepts and issues, not with any one particular "brand" of webring.
It includes my Webring FAQ, links to articles about webrings, and general help information. Click here or on the graphic.
The WebRing.com System
This subsection includes specific information about the WebRing.com system.
While not the only webring system on the net, it is the best known and the most used. I own many webrings in this system and belong to many webrings in this system. (I also own and belong to many webrings in other systems as well.) Click here or on the graphic.
The Wazillion Navbars Project
This subsection is a historical section about the Yahoo! WebRing system. It was begun during the early days of problems with the Yahoo! WebRing system in September 2000.
It ended when the Yahoo! WebRing system spun off into the independent WebRing.com system in October 2001. I maintain it for the historical record. Click here or on the graphic.
