NB: At the present time I am not a professional member of either of these organizations. However, I have maintained this page for historical reasons.
National Speakers Association (NSA) I am involved in several professional organizations. Two of them are the National Speakers Association (NSA) and its local charter chapter, the National Speakers Association of North Texas (NSA/NT). National Speakers Association The National Speakers Association (NSA) is an international association of more than 3,800 members dedicated to advancing the art and value of experts who speak professionally. If you speak professionally, as a part of your job, or as an independent professional speaker, you should check out this organization. I remember the early days of the PC Users groups. Everyone was learning, and everyone was willing to share what they had discovered with everyone else. There was a feeling of mutual purpose and camaraderie that was incredible. The National Speakers Association (for speakers, not the computer types) offers much the same feel: a sense of sharing and mutual support. There are currently thirty-seven state and regional NSA chapters throughout the U.S. The National Speakers Association of North Texas is one of these. Click here to go to the NSA information page for contacts to other chapters. National Speakers Association of North Texas A chartered chapter of the National Speakers Association, the National Speakers Association of North Texas (NSA/NT) serves NSA members in (guess where?) north Texas. (Two other Texas Chapters, the Heart of Texas Chapter and the Houston Chapter serve the Austin/San Antonio area and the Houston/Gulf Coast area.) I am a member of NSA/NT and have previously served on the Managing Board of Directors for Technology, and, for a time, was the volunteer webmaster of the NSA/NT website where we feature an online membership directory of professional speakers. We have monthly workshops, open to non-members. The best way to get to know more about us is to attend one of our workshops. And the best way to find out about our workshops, is to visit our website: www.speaker.org. Other Chapters If you live outside our area, you should check out the National Speakers Association website for information on your local chapter. Click here to go to the NSA information page for contacts to other chapters. NSA/NT Contact Information Headquarters
