A Cat House

Guests at the Anderson House in Wabasha, Minnesota, can request feline "loaners" when they check in. The hotel has twelve cats available as sleeping companions for hotel residents. Owner John Hall says that one in five guests wants to share a bed with a feline. "They are as common as a bucket of ice would be in other hotels," says Hall, who does not charge for the service. He adds that all the cats are spoken for every weekend.
